Treatment Room Design
There is no need for the treatment room to feel like a bunker. The design should aim to put the patient at ease while providing an efficient working environment for the clinical team. The dose rate outside the Gamma Knife is extremely low but dose rates are often incorrectly extrapolated by linac experts that are put in charge of the design but often know little about the characteristics of a Gamma Knife.
